Chennai Koli SaruIngredients:
Neck of chicken – 200 gms,
onion paste – 2 tsp,
boiled chicken – 2 tsp,
refined flour – 2 tsp,
butter – 1 tbsp,
spinch leaves – 1 tbsp,
milk – 100ml,
salt – to taste,
pepper – 1 pinch.
Chennai Koli Saru Preparation:
Clean the neck of the chicken well and keep it aside. To the chicken add the onion paste, pepper, salt, turmeric powder pour 200ml of water and cook it in the cooker. If the chicken is not cooked in the cooker and if cooked in an ordinary vessel pour little more amount of water.When chicken is cooked well take the stock of the chicken and keep it aside. Keep the pan on the stove pour milk add butter to it and stir well.When the butter is melted in the milk add refined flour to it and mix the mixture well. When the flour is cooked add the cooked chicken pieces, chopped spinach, chicken stock, salt and stir it well and allow it to boil.Remove from fire and cool the mixture and drink. This can be consumed by all the family members. It is a very healthy drink.
