Omelette RiceIngredients:
Basmathi Rice – 250 grams,
Butter / ghee – 1 tbsp,
carrots – 50 grams,
spring onions – 50 grams,
capsicum – 2 nos,
cabbage – 50 grams,
egg – 6 no’s,
salt – to taste,
coriander leaves (Chopped ) – 1 tbsp,
curry leaves – a few.
Omelette Rice Preparation:
Beat egg and add pepper, salt mix and keep it aside. Heat griddle and apply ghee or butter on the griddle and when hot pour the egg mixture over it and spread evenly. Make both the sides of the egg golden brown and remove from fire and cut into thin long pieces. Cut the cabbage, carrot and deseeded capsicum into thin long strips like the egg pieces and chop the spring onions, coriander leaves. Keep the pan on the stove and add butter 1 ghee and add carrot, cabbage and capsicum and mix well and then add the chopped spring onions, coriander leaves and curry leaves and sauté it. Add the coked rice to the mixture and finally add the Omelette pieces and mix the rice gently. Cover the rice for few minutes and then remove from fire and serve hot. |
