Aval Kesari Ingredients:
Pressed Rice – 1 cup,
Sugar – ½ cup,
Cashew nuts – 10 Nos,
Sultanas – 10 Nos,
Cardamom – 4 Nos powdered,
Clarrified butter / ghee – ¼ cup,
camphor – a little,
yellow colour powder – a pinch.
Aval Kesari Preparation:
Clean the pressed rice. Heat the ghee and fry the cashew nuts, sultanas and remove.Fry the pressed rice in same clarified butter.Soak the fried pressed rice in hot water.Mix yellow colour powder in little water.Heat pan and add soaked rice, and add sugar and coloured water mix well.When the sugar dissolved add ghee little by little mix well.When this mixture leaves the sides of the pan, add fried cashew nut, sultanas, cardamom powder , camphor, mix well.Cool and serve.
