Rava Kesari Ingredients:
Semolina – 1 cup, Sugar – 2 cup, milk-2 ½ cup, clarified butter / ghee – ½ cup, Cashew nut – 10 Nos, Cardamom – 4 Nos, Tutty fruits, sultanas, dates – ¼ cup.
Rava Kesari Preparation:
Chop cashew nut and dates into small pieces. Powder the cardamom.Melt the clarified butter (2 tsp) and fry the cashew nut until golden brown colour and remove.Fry dates sultanas in same clarified butter and remove.Add one more tea spoon of ghee and fry the semolina. Boil the milk.Add milk over the fried semolina, when its cooked add sugar mix well.While a mixing add ghee little by little.Add fried cashew nuts, sultanas, dates, tutty fruits, cardamom powder and mix well.When the mixture (Kesari) leaves the sides of the pan remove and serve hot.
