Somas Ingredients:
Roasted Bengal gram β 4 cup,
Sugar β 4 cup,
Moulded jaggery β 4 Nos,
Coconut β 1 Nos,
Cashew nut β 100 gm,
Cardamom β 20 Nos,
refined flour β Β½ kg,
clarified butter / ghee β 4 tsp,
oil β for frying.
Somas preparation:
Powder the roasted gram and sieve it powder the jasggery. Greate the coconut , chop the cashewnuts.Fry the cahew nuts in ghee and greated coconut and fry in ghee.To the powdered Bengal gram ass powdered jaggery fried coconut and cashewnuts.Take refined flour pour some water and oil and mix it well to form a stiff dough.Make the dough in the filling in the centar and cut it with the help of somas cutter.Heat oil when its hot fry the somas.
