Thengai Burfi Ingredients:
Grated coconut – 1 cup,
Sugar – 1 cup,
Cashew nut – 25 gm,
Cardamom powder – 2 tsp,
clarified butter – 4 tsp.
Thengai Burfi Preparation:
Grind the coconut in mixer grinder in two second. Chop the cashew nut and fry it in clarified butter. Make the sugar to form a string syrup. When syrup is done add coconut and mix well. When the coconut burfi is almost done add the fried cashewnuts and cardamom powder. Add clarified butter and remove and pour in a greased plate and cool it when the burfi is half cooled cut into pieces.When the burfi is fully cooled turn over the plate on top of a paper the burfi pieces will come out without sticking
