Ukkarai Ingredients:
Raw rice flour – 1 cup,
Green gram – 1 cup,
Jaggery – 1 cup powdered
Clarrifed butter / ghee – ½ cup,
cardamom powder - 2 tsp
Ukkarai Preparation:
Heat ghee and fry the rice flour until golden brown.Boil the lightly roasted green gram without over cooking. Dissolve the jaggery and strain it make syrup out of it.When syrup is boiling add Roosted rice flour and add boiled green gram then add ghee little by little mix well and add cardamom powder. Mix well till it. Leave the sides of the pan and serve hot.
