This Marzipan recipe is basically almond paste that can be used with candy, fruits and cakes.
Maripazan Candy Ingredients:
100gms of ground almonds
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg white
3 tablespoons rosewater or lemon juice
Maripazan Candy Preparation:
In a medium sized bowl mix the ground almonds, sugar. Make a well in the centre then add the unbeaten egg yolk and rosewater. Mix it well. Knead with fingers to make consistent dough. Remove from bowl and place on a dusted board with confectioners’ sugar and form desired shapes. Then let it dry for about a day.
