Obittu Ingredients:
For the stuffing
Grated coconut - 2 cups
Cardamom - 2
Sugar - 11/2 cup
Maida flour - 2 cups
Oil - 10 tsp
Salt to taste
Obittu Preparation:
In a large bowl add the maida and the salt along with the oil and make it into a nice flour, add more oil if needed, and keep it aside. Heat some oil in a pan and add little oil and add the cardamom the grated coconut with the sugar, and then mix it well. Then take little dough and flatten it with hand and add a small ball of the stuffing inside and close it completely and try to spread it out with hand with moisten it with oil. And heat a pan and heat the obittu or boil on both sides.
