Paruppu Payasam Ingredients:
Chana dal - 1 cup
Ghee - 10 tsp
Sugar - 11/2 cup
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Cashew nuts fried in ghee - 2 tsp
Paruppu Payasam Preparation:
Half cook the chana dal in a pressure cook heat some ghee in a pan and add the fried nuts, and add the coconut milk with the half cooked chana dal and also add the sugar. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes. |
