Tomato Chutney Ingredients:
Onion - ½
Tomatoes - 3
Red chillies - 4
urad dal - 3 tsp
chana dal - 3 tsp
Coconut - ½ cup
Coriander seeds - ½ tsp
Heat some oil in a pan and add the dal to it.
Then add the cut onions after it turns golden brown add the tomatoes.
When they are well cooked add the red chillies and coriander seeds & salt to taste.
Tomato Chutney grind:
Take them off the stove and put them in the mixer and grind them well without adding water to it
Tip: Do not add water as there will be enough juice from the tomato
Tomato Chutney garnish:
Heat some oil in a pan and add some mustard seeds
Then add the ½ tsp of urad dal and chana dal each and curry leaves.
Then add it to the chutney.
