Chakli Ingredients:
Urud flour 115 gms. Rice flour 340 gms. Chili powder 3 tsps. Asafoetida ½ tsp. Til seeds 1 tbsp. Butter 2 tbsps. Oil As required Salt To taste
Chakli Method:
1.Mix both the flours with chili powder, asafoetida, butter and salt.
2. Wash the til seeds and add to the flour mixture. 3. Add water and knead into soft dough. 4. Put bits of dough through a chakli mould, hold it over a kadhai with hot oil and press chaklis into the oil. 5. When the chaklis are crisp and brown drain off the oil and remove. 6. Cool and store
