Masala Vadai Ingredients:
1) chana dal - 350 gms
2) Green chillies - 3
3) butter - 50 gms
4) Ginger paste - 2 tsp
5) Salt to taste
6) Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
7) Red chillies - 2
8) Coriander leaves
9) Onions - 2
For the batter:
Soak the chana dal for about 3 hours, grind them with little water.
Add the green chillies, red chillies, ginger, and turmeric powder then add onions, coriander leaves and the butter.
To fry them:
Take the batter and make them into small rounds And flatten them, Now deep fry them in the oil.
Serve it hot with coconut chutney
Tip: Add some oil to the batter before deep frying the vadai
