Okra Poriyal (Bhindi Masala)
Okra Poriyal (Bhindi Masala)


Okra Poriyal Ingredients :

Okra - 100 gms
Onion - 2 ( finely chopped)
Urad dal & chana dal - 3 tsp
Chilli powder - 5 tsp
curry leaves 
Coriander leaves
shredded coconut - 3 tsp
turmeric powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste

Okra Poriyal Preparation :

Heat some oil in a pan & add the mustard seeds and dal wait till they turn golden brown.

Then  add the onions and curry leaves. Add the okra and fry them well without adding water to it.

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.  Fry them in low heat for about 30 minutes, till
the okra is well cooked.

Add the coriander leaves and shredded coconut and serve them hot with rice.
