Making lemon sevai
Ingredients
White sevai - 200gms
Red onion 1 finely chopped
Green chillies -2
Cashew nuts
Salt to taste
Green chillies
Mustard seeds
Urad dal 1/2 tsp
Asafetida a pinch
Coconut oil 4 tsp
Curry leaves and cilantro to desire
Preparation
In a medium sauce pan add the oil along with mustard seeds once it's splatters add the chillies along with the urad dal curry leaves chillies and let the oil temper with the ingredients
Now add the onion with the cashews sauté them until golden brown until the oil separates from the onion
Now add the cooked sevai sauté it well add the lemon juice with salt to taste
Garnish with a tsp of butter and cilantro
You can also add shredded coconut to taste and sambar powder to desire
