Malai Kofta Ingredients:
Potato - 2
Carrot - 2
Beetroot - 1
Beans - 1 cup
Peas - 1 cup
Channa besan flour - 2 tsp
salt to taste
Green chillies - 3-4
Mint leaves
Onion -2
To Grind :
Grind 3-4 green chillies seperately
Grind 5gms of mint leaves seperately
Green chillies - 2
Ginger & garlic paste - 2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
salt to taste
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 3 tsp
Grind the above ingredients well to make a smooth paste
Malai Kofta Preperation:
Cook the potatoes,carrot , Beetroot, peas,beans and mash them well together. Then add the ground paste, the channa flour, salt , chilli powder , add the ground mint make it into small round balls then deep fry them in oil.
Malai Kofta Gravy Preparation:
Heat some oil in a pan then add the chopped onions and fry them well till they turn golden brown in color add the ground masala to it , fry them until the oil sepertes from the masala. Add enough water to the masala , then let it simmer until the gravy thickens. Gently add the fried kofta balls to the gravy , let it boil for about 2-3 minutes in simmer Then serve it hot with rotis or naan . |
