Ingredients of Chocolate (eggless) Cake: Flour(Maida):1(1/4)cups. Cocoa Powder:1/4 cup. Baking Soda:1 Teaspoon. Pinch of salt. Milk:1 cup. Oil:6 tablespoons. Vanilla essence:1 Teaspoon. Vinegar:1 Tablespoon. Powdered Sugar: 1Cup + 1 Tablespoon.
Preparation of Chocolate (eggless) Cake: Sift together 1(1/4)cups of Flour(maida),1/4 cup Cocoa, 1 teaspoon baking Soda and a pinch
of Salt. Add 1Cup + 1 tablespoon of Powdered Sugar.Mix together 6 tablespoons of oil, 1cup
of Milk and 1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence. Make a batter by blending dry and liquid ingredients together. Pre-heat oven to 350*F or 180*C. Grease one 9 inch Pan or an 8inch square pan or equivalent. Add 1 tablespoon of Vinegar to the batter, mix well and pour into tray.Bake for 25-30 minutes. The cake rises well, so make a somewhat thin layer. If you are planning to ice it, then bake it in smaller pans, making 2 layers so that there are less choices of it cracking on the top. If you want to make the cake plain (without cocoa), sinply increase the flour to 1(1/2)cups and omit the cocoa. 8-10 servings (approx).
