Ingredients of My Mom's Vanilla Butter Cake:
500g plain flour 500g sugar 500g butter 10 eggs 2 tsp vanilla essence 1 tsp baking powder
Preparation of My Mom's Vanilla Butter Cake: 1. Sift the flour and baking powder together. set aside 2. Breake the eggs into a bowl,beat them well with vanilla essence. set a side 3. Place the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and cream with a wooden-spoon or electic
beater until light and fliffy 4. Add the flour and eggs in several stages tothe creamed mixture beating throughly between
each addition to incorporate them well. 5. Pour the batter into a well buttered cake tin and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180c / 350f /
gas mark 4, fan speed (HIGH) for 45 min.
NOTE: ABOVE QUANTITY IS FOR A 31/2 LB CAKE
