Features:

Citrine is a member of the ubiquitous Quartz Crystal family & is almost an identical twin to the Amethyst Crystal.Both crystals form in pegmatites created during volcanic eruptions or in druzes & other matrix stones as the result of hydrothermal activity. Both grow in the same termination patterns. When exposed to heat, Amethyst will turn the same golden color as the Citrine crystal.
